A nuanced exploration of form and color, utilizing both acrylic and oil pastels on canvas to create a composition that is at once introspective and expressive.
I mix organic and geometric forms, with curved lines and arches intersecting with squares and rectangles, creating a visual language that is fluid and open to interpretation. The layering of these shapes, along with the textural contrast between the smooth acrylics and the more tactile oil pastels, adds depth and dimension to the paintings.
